Hmm, as we know the TTE turbine housings are inconel but that is hard to work with and is expensive. They are not indestructible as our friend found on the Eiffel Rally. Owens should know the score as they do enough WRC turbo rebuilds.

You sent me a link to some stainless turbo housings. I think that was before you did any research as you didn't mention you had found failures of std housings.

The pants may have been mine, no idea why the migrated to the hall though.

I think I possibly came accross the tial housing while googling the apparent garrett issue

TBH I don't know if it a real problem or not. There's a bit of internet speculation though so it must be true........

Hmmm, JPs pants make a run for the front door after a night of beer and curries :?:
