Looking around for a plug'n'play harness for a Greddy Emanage Ultimate to fit in my '95 JDM ST205.
I want to avoid splicing into the main loom.
Boomslang do one for a '93-'95 MR2 Turbo but not sure if this is compatiable :? http://www.boomslang.us/ultimate.htm

Can anyone help?

They have all the connector to do it but you have to specify the rev3 pinout (with a pics and legend), i suppose they still won't charge you any penny for a custom job.

I ordered one 2 years ago, based on the ST185 one with specific 205 pin position, they do the job right.

But they also say 89-93 3SGTE is T2

VTA, Inj 1 to 4, power, ground are the same, ignition is absolutely not in the same place.

Before december 91 G2 - G1 - NE use big pin, then it use small pin so you can't swap pin with the attached cable for the EMU.

I think they need to be use for timingto control IGT

Overall it's not a big mod, you always could cut and solder somewhere else.

JP found a source for the connectors a while back. I'd recommend building a small loom that plugs between the main harness and the ecu that has the breakout wiring. Basically a diy boomslang job

Boomslang used to list the st205/rev 4 mr2 so they might actually be able to do you one off the shelf if you ask

I did but IIRc DJ tried ordering some and got some male plugs but female were out of stock - never heard again if he got them in teh end.

Is also worth seeing if peter piper has any "funny looms" kicking about for the plugs.

Nigel - Can I ask why you are fitting emanage to the car? I thought you had a host of ECUs and all will change your class in TSS ??

Having a play :D

I have a virtually brand new Emanage Ultimate sitting here and I'd like to see what it's capable of.

On a side note to that...I have an EL Prototypes ST185 specific ECU (similar to Blitz etc) which I think would marry nicely with the Emanage but would like to play with the Emanage first.

I tried and tested the ST205 specific SARD ECU (an excellent unit) then sold it.
Apexi PFC was for track car but have since decided to go for a MOTEC M4.
Reason for selling these was that I needed funds for suspension (lower arms and fig8s) replacement. :(

As for TSS...I'm not competitive :(
So it really doesn't matter what class I'm in :!:

I've emailed Boomslang direct and now waiting for a response.
I have also sent an email to Tuning Developments as they state on their web site about Emanage mapping and field harnesses...again waiting for a response.
