I'm thinking about attemping making up a connector loom for a motec M4 to fit into the existing ECU plugs. I dont want to butcher a ecu so i wonder if any of you clever chaps know of a way to conect the motec connector block to the male connectors in a 205 loom?

I do not know if the 2nd and 3rd gen 3sgte have the same connectors for the ecu, but I have seen the ecu connectors sold separate.

you could try these.

toyota ECU plug part #'s for custom harnesses

female receptacle is amp/tyco part # 174518-7

the male plugs are part #'s 174514-6 (16 pin), 174515-6 (22 pin), and 174516-6 (26 pin), with contacts being part #'s 173631 (large) and 173716 (small). you'll need 16 of the larger and 48 of the smaller ones.

http://www.onlinecomponents.com stocks all these parts.

Don't know if it's gen 2 or 3.

I used a 3sge ecu and cut the connectors out for my CS+SM4.

good luck.

185 & 205 connectors are the same, but one or 2 pinouts are slightly different.
Link do a pcb with the connectors on running to connections so you can attach wires.
