right, when i got the car last week, the wires had been chopped, ive connected them back up and went to find an iso lead, thing is my standard wires have 1 plug... yet all the iso cables i see on ebay etc have 2 plugs that connect to the cars original harness.. is this right??, i managed to wire in an old stereo and it all came on fine but no sound from any speakers.. im really confused, can some1 shed some light on this please, thanks

There should be 2 plugs in the standard wiring loom.

just ha d a look and theres 2 plugs further down the wires which are blue coloured, they look like they wud fit into the iso;s ive seen, what you think?

IRC they are blue connectors so sounds right :)
Check to see if one is a 6-pin connector and that the other is a 10-pin connector, with the colour coded wires as indicated above.

If you gat an aerial problem, the normal aftermarket stereo / loom often doesn't bring up the aerial when required. There was a topic on this recently which shouldn't take much finding.

the aerial is working fine mate, cheers, just need the blanking plate from fleabay
