recently changed the radiator in my ST205, and got a little air lock, are the cars bad for this , is there an easy way to get it out??, i know in skylines/300zx etc you just remove the rad cap and let it tick over for a while, any methods like this or any tips? cheers in advance again

try also making sure the heater is on hot and full fan. As peter said leave cap off and idle until it has cycled fan on & off say 4-5 times, adding coolant each time the level drops.

Just make sure your expansion bottle is filled as this will draw air back into the system when the engine cools. Dorris

Next step is to start tracing power & signals with a multimeter and the wiring diagrams linked earlier.

Air lock in the system? First one I've ever heard of! The system is very straighforward on the GT4, no fiddling about with bleed points...

What was the problem?
