just like to say cheers to everybody who has helped so far, must seem a pain, just tryin to get it the way i want it

recieved my boost gauge, ive heard the best place to plum it into is the bit on the back of the inlet manifold, does anybody know where to buy a reducer pipe to go from the ID8mm part of the inlet to the ID4mm pipe that comes with the gauge?, or is there an easier place to fit that ive missed, cheers in advance

Halfords do various T pieces and other fittings (normally with all the 'oddments' bolts / crimps etc.)

Most places are ok, but avoid T'ing in with the aircon idle up as that has quite a flow to it and will affect reading.

A pair of years ago I had a Greddy boost gauge and it was connected in aircon idle vsv hose, but I didn't noticed any difference in reading with my 5 bar MAP sensor connected in oem map hose... nor at idle with aircon on.

On my 205 I currently have aircon ide up & dump valve sharing an outlet with a T as the other outlet is going to the LPG regulator. When the aircon is running, the dump valve barely opens - hence my comment above.

Yes, this is correct, as when aircon vsv is open, there is obviously more pressure in ALL the plenum!
But this does not mean that reading is not correct there... ;)
