"Who Dares Wins" Don!

It worked great, I know now how much fuel is probably left in the tank! Thanks again, again, Chris, you da electrickery man.

Now does anyone know why I'm having trouble getting the SM4 to datastream through the laptop? I need it so that I can still see the dash whilst I've got the ECU plugged into the laptop for mapping???? In the words of Muttley "frazzle-razzle-drazzle".

done a few Aim install over the yrs. however due to the fact that the toyota oem sender is skitish suffers from float movement at low amounts of fuel . toyota over come this using dampened moving iron meter.
for aims certainly use voltage regulators for sensor/sender units through out with resistor networks everything works.

seems to offer a user-able 0 - 65 ltr gauge.

The complete install uses both anolog and rs232 , anolog setup so dash remain fully functional when using the motec via rs232 lead for recalibration "mapping" the aim will accept can bus / rs232 for data input.

best of all is the ability using the custom calibration software for custom tables for any sensor know to man kind , its a great bit of kit and the software capability is amazing. SCC sheds ran aims systems and the training was well useful for installs.
