The heat of the engine bay seems to bugger up the glue holding the plastic cap to the lead and when trying to remove the leads they come apart.

Had this on both ST185 and St205 sets I bought and had to bin them and buy another set. I've had no issues on the std Toyota parts.

:-( ...that doesn't sound good. I doubt that changing plugs, leads and dizzy cap will fix your power loss but on the other hand it won't do any harm. I would endorse Dicemans advice on what to go for. Have you still got that boost control bleed/relief valve controlling the boost? If you can get along to our proposed dinner meet then we can at least check the error codes. I think a date has yet to be set. Hopefully it won't clash with your selection course. Good luck anyway!

thanks for your help guys, i'll get pete to replace the studd :) its not so much lacking power but kinda misfiring, its hard to explain it still flies just have to do low gear changes as it chokes a bit when turbo increase.

Pete still needs to take boost control he just hasnt had a day off in weeks to spend some time on it, just been so bloody hectic.

unfortunatley the meet is when im up at selection, im hoping not to be sent home mondy so hoping i'll complete the 4 days, if all goes wrong i'll be home monday night.
