Hey guys got a st205 jdm as some will know i have a abs problem. being a mechanic ive checked it over and what happens is on start there is no abs light on but after i start rolling the abs cuts out and the light comes solid on the dash. now ive checked it up on a ramp and the drivers front disc is warped a lot probably from my trck days however i havnt replaced them yet and looking at it on the ramp the sensor wont read properly with a warped front disc like mine is. Anyway is there a way to read the abs code doing the diagnostics pin?? ive done the standard e1 and te1 and no code for abs comes up even though the light is solid on the dash. is there another pin out you test?? any advise would be good cheers guys ollie.

I thought the ABS took rotational signal from splines on the drive shaft not the disc?

This doc may be of assistance...

Pics of the toothed driveshaft (Only ABS driveshafts have this I believe). It is the large set of splines near the CV joint.

disc's will have no effect on the abs.

in the diag plug you want to bridge pins tc and e1, also there should be a little metal short pin in the plug, you will need to remove this pin to carry out abs code check.

JP - think all the CV joints have the toothed arrangements, it's the hubs that vary
