There's an amazing thread on the Toyota Sportscar Owners Group Norway forum detailing all the stages of the build of an unlimited horsepower rally/circuit/drag spec TTE ST185.

http://www.ts-ogn.no/phpBB3/viewtopic.p ... 8&start=30

Unfortunately its in Norwegian and the online translaters struggle with the conversion to English. Nevertheless, from the pics alone there's a tremendous amount of work gone into this car. Looking at the engine spec most of the power is above 5000rpm so clearly its not suitable as a daily driver! Thanks to JP for this find :)

Well worth checking out.

I **think** it's a belt drive fuel pump

Judging by the aeromotive thing by the cam gears that appears to be one of their fuel filters I'll guess it's one of these

As far as I can tell the accusump looking thing seems to be plumbed into the water system (as backed up by the connection to the header tank on the firewall)

Great to see someone use the MR2 ancillary setup with the alt in the PS pump location and the electric MR2 PS pump in the boot :D
And a proper wet liner setup to boot

Yes, the wet liner mod seems particularly brave  I've copied this to JEMS as Jon's better half is Norwegian so I've asked for a full translation
