For hybrids, a lot depends on what your goals are. If boost is limited by having standard engine internals, then you don't want to go too mad or you just lose a lot of drivability for only a few HP gain at high RPM. The car can end up being slower overall.

From personal preferance, I tend to trust Fensport more than most for sourcing good kit. I'm currently running a Fensport stage 2 CT20b (equiv. stage 3 CT26) on my 185 which is reasonable, but no real power below 4000 RPM. On my 205 road car, I'm running a standard CT20b as it makes for a nice easy drive.

Many on here like the turbo technics single wastegate hybrid as it doesn't suffer boost creep, but I have heard reliability issues on newer ones, and also heard rumours they are no longer made with single wastegate.

IMHO for a st185 I would stick with a low spec hybrid or a CT20b from a ST205.

As CDB has said with std internals you can't push the power too high anyway. You will just end up with a laggy turbo and not being able to make any more power!

May be worth dropping robbiemcvie a line as has a Ct20b for sale.

i have entered at Fensport and i think i will go with the Stahe 1 or Stage 2 turbo kit it's exactli what i want from the car at this moment less then 300Hp with out changing the injectors or the pistons or the ECU .
Stock but with a bit more power !!!!

What do you think ???

Sounds very sensible to me. Low spec Stage 1 turbo should be ideal and resist the temptation to turn up the boost. The faster response makes the drive more enjoyable.
