Possible I guess that with greater production runs the quality has suffered a little.

I havent been on the OC for ages so no idea what goes on.

Glad you are enjoying it fella.
at 1.2 bar and with basic breathing mods they are good fun and should be reliable enough if your engien was built well :-)

Enjoy!

last try at this option
have to mention that the cat element of the cat
seem to be failing
as it had a mot, but passed due to freindly tester (just)
so basically im woundering why that if the cat is/has
failed, in theory its a de-cat?
what dieamiter is the cat
or any explaination on the above
if i compleatly remove the cat in the pipe
would i still have the boost
for some reason i dont think so

i cant really understand what you are saying but i think you are saying if you "gut" the cat it wont have boost??

it doesnt matter if you gut the cat or not, you will have the same boost you always will, guting it is the same as a decat pipe.

youd have to read through the whole topic
but basically ive tryed fitting a de cat (aussie)
but had issues with overboost
so re fitted the cat with no problems
but as mentioned in the above post
the cat has/is failling
so technically its a de cat
so im after a answer why its working ok with the cat in-place
even tho its failed/failling making it a de cat

"resistance by flow" decat has less than the cat if you fitted a de=cat with reducer you would get the same as a cat

ah sorry yeah i not read the whole thing but as above, gut the cat is less resistance than with car in however de cat is even less so can cause creep.

if you want a guide to gutting the cat there is a guide on Kris' www.gtfours.co.uk website in the 'how to' section. :)
