Hi,

I have had an st165 kept in a garage since i been married (4 years). now need to sell as I have a baby (well, wife has) on the way and I bought a house which needs doing up before baby arrives.

Anyway, I have a mate who may take on the challenge of the st165 but I cant find the spec of this turbo, plus Fensport dont do it anymore and dont respond to my emails.

Any help would be great.

If he doesnt take it I may break it up. its in need of a window screen, and re-assembling (body kit to sort any signs of rust, front wings off but had bought some non rusted ones). New battery needed too.

stage 1 turbo, blitz supersound dumpvalve, later spec single pot front callipers, 17" smith twisters (x5), greddy profec A boost controller (not connected up), turbo timer (not connected). (been lowered by guy before me so dont know the make/age same with exhaust). also has aircon unit removed and new pulley I got from someone who used to advertise with the GT4OC.

Bits that would be lost if the car was scrapped, poly rear bushes, both electronic front seats (replaced the front passenger seat with a drivers seat so full electronics)

I would think the stage 1 is very similar to a ST185 stage 1. (St165 will have a single wastegate and not be twin scroll for the turbine housing)
"Turbocharger Stage 1

Hybrid CT26

Completely rebuilt using New Steel shaft and larger compressor wheel - rebuilt and balanced to racing standards with a choice of uprated actuator.

Guide: - Ideal for cars running up to 1Bar boost, full boost available from 2,800 rpm, power up to 270bhp. "

Based on the above it is probably a TO4E 46 trim or similar compressor wheel.

Thanks for that guys. Very quick replies too! Cheers, i'm hoping my mate will buy it, it would be a shame to destroy another 165.

The 165 is single entry, 185 and 205 are twin entry.

Nope she isn't being broken. At some point I will get the time to post pictures up but so far have removed and killed all the rust around windscreen, cutting out the bad sections and welding in good metal, using filler to ensure around windscreen is perfectly smooth and just today finished priming and spraying so I can fit a new windscreen. A few more jobs to go but that was the most hour hungry job really.
Another sexy ST165 will soon be back on the road again.
