Is there a difference between 185,165 and 205 gearbox, axles and diff?

gearbox wise

185 has a selection lever underneath to disable centre viscous coupling or uncoupled centre different and run fed. 165 box may also have this but not sure.
Speed sensors are different between all 3
205 box has better synchromesh
185 cs box has better syncromesh and different ratios.
There are various different ratios between all boxes.
Apart from the above, they are interchangable


Axle wise (not speaking for 165)

205 is a touch wider, otherwise interchange apart from tie bar mounting points.
I think the diffs are interchangable but never tried it.
