Guess you may be wanting this if changing tyre size:

Many folks use a 225/50/16, myself included.

An unusual size - trying getting hold of that size :!:
Better off as stated going for the 225 50 16 or 225 45 16 - better choice of tyres and cheaper (due to being a more common size).

I wont use Hankooks again - great while they were new in the dry but once slightly worn they were positively lethal in the wet. This was some time ago so the model you mention may be better.

IMO best all round weather tyres that I would go for are:
Goodyear Eagle F1
Toyo Proxie T1-R
Yokohama Parada Spec II

After a conversation with the top guy on the Maxxis stand at AutoSport,
I would also consider going for the Maxxis MAZ1/Drift for the sprint series as it is 1. Road Legal and 2. has a stiffer sidewall.

If I understand correctly, that is only with regards to the diameter of the wheel - not tyre size.
i.e. if your std wheel size is 16" then you cant go for 15" wheels, however, you could go 17".

I run 225/45/16 Dunlop DZ02G on stock 3-spoke rims for track wheels.
