Don't really see it being any different to the gte. can you check the epc and compare part numbers for the pressure relief valve?

Since bearing clearances are the same the only difference is likely to be oil squirters vs oil control for cams, probably on a similar scale

Hi,

toyodiy say oilpump, pressure regulator and piston cooling valves/ nozzles are different (gen.3 =2,5bar open pressure)

i have also notices a different oil pump gear against gen.4 &5 beams use tha same as gen.3

meanwhile i think this could be a upgrade pump with crank sensor mounting

i hope to find one with a blacktop engine to get some more infos but it looks like i buy a pump and start R&D.....

Hi,

205, are you able to compare a ST205 gen.3 oil pump gear with the gen.4 one?

the gen.4 one have a different part number against gen.3....

they are different for certain as the 205 pump and 215 sumo do not fit together

I didn't notice any other difference. My 215 block is running with a 205 pump

Hi,

so there is no difference in diameter or tooth?

meanwhile i got some infos

a blacktop pump will not fit and a redtop one do 2,8bar at idle
he also told me that there is only 0,1 bar differnce from cold to hot with "standard toyota VVTI oil 10W30".....looks like a little less

2,8bar hot idle is definetly more as the ST205 pump do iirc my one do ~2bar

looks like i'll try 15100-88561 (redtop and later ST215 type) with a ST205 gear
