 Post subject: Rolling road print out.

Heres my rolling road printout from a couple of months ago.Its been measred at the wheels. I would say my boost controller wasnt set up right..... Ive since changed the gain to 5 instead of 20. Your valued thoughts please :D

I'm guessing the lower print out is AFR ?

Do you have a plot of boost vs. RPM ?

Otherwise looks like a normalish ST185 plot to me with the double peak. Maybe a tad weaker than normal midrange (assuming it is AFR)
What happened on the second run ? Throttle lift off ?

Yeah lower part is AFR.

Sorry but its the only graph i was given. Does it not seem strange to be at best power just over 4000rpm? Surely i would want to peak out at about 7000rpm?

The second run confimrs what i feel as the driver. The car always pulled a little differant each time it was planted. Maybe related to the other current post? :roll: Sometimes with full throttle it bogged down.

Peak power showing at just over 5K and fairly flat up to 7. You're looking at the torque curve.

Dyno's aren't very realistic for a 185 as the intercooler gets very hot and saps power. Very few have fans which actually blow into the bonnet scoop. Subsequent runs normally get worse as it gets hotter.
