ok so the code 52 started yesterday just randomly, the code goes away when i shut the car off but comes back on whenever i hit around 2800rpm with no load. the car is in limp mode i got no power, compression is good about 155-160 across the block, anyone think it could be a faulty sensor? car starts and runs great?!?!?

Normally sensor or the wire to it.

Sensor is round the back of the engine, top of block, about in the middle between the engine stays.

The wire is a screened wire with the screen earthed at the ecu end and left unconnected at the sensor end. A common problem is people not realising this when re-making an end and connecting screen and core together.

The error is detected when the ECU sees no signal when engine RPM is above 2800 and will stay until the engine is switched off.

also when the car is cold the car will run perfect until i reach close to the normal temp than the code will come on at the 2800ish rpm, so could b a split in the wire or a faulty sensor you say? and thanks for the quick reply

Either broken wire or short to ground or faulty sensor. Those are the most common anyway.

Only by using an oscillator to simulate the normal output from the sensor.

I got her fixed, it was the sensor itself, but the weird thing is that there was no continuity on the sensor when i did the test indicating it is a good sensor...but anyway its fixed thanks for the help:)
