hello dose any one know how to install the Forge BOV Kit on the ST185 ????

For the ST185 you need a SAMCO (or similiar) T-piece to fit between the turbo and the intercooler.

If i need the T piece from samco then why Forge dident delivered to me in the kit, i call to forge and they said that the kit has evrithing that i need to install the bov......but the kit includes 2 strait hoses with difrent diameter........

i know but why forge sells the kit and sais that it's all included...is ther another way to install the bov ????

Yeah, welding that adapter to teh intercooler after cutting a hole in it? I'd go for a T-hose!

i fitted the Forge bov with the samco T hose perfect fit, but when the car is in neutral and i rev up the engine the bov is not maiking any sound is the bov onli working only when the car is muving and changing gears ???

It only really works under boost...think of it as a pressure release valve.

i just did some tests with my car and the BOV is not working it dosent ( pfssttt) what could be the problem ???

How did you test it?

Can you confirm that the turbo is making positive pressure.

Do you have a picture of your install?

i dont have a boost guage installed just the factory one from the dasbord and in 1st 2 and 3 gear it rises to + (pozitive) but the BOV is not making any sound....

I wil make a picture with the installed BOV

not really

quick tests -mm
disconnect the small vacuum hose from the dump valve. With the engine runnong this hose should have a vacuum

reconnect it to the dv and disconnect the other end from the inlet manifold. Give it what's known in the trade as a Lewinski - suck as hard as you can but don't swallow. This should open tthe dv and stall the engine or make it run rough

well chances are if the dv is working (opens when you suck on the vac line) and the vac line is hooked up right (vacuum at idle) then it's probably working

wedge a bit of tissue into one of the ports and go for a drive. If the tissue is gone when you stop the dv is working
