Is it possible the spring in your valve is too strong and therefore staying shut all the time?

can you ask Fevzi ( the professor ) ????

i dont know what else to do :(

hi, you know i've got the same bov like yours.
your fitting is ok, because you said it's exactly like mine.
but...
what do you mean with 'it doesn't work' i've read this topic and see you said it does work when you drive the car.
in my car it makes no noise in neutral position when you don't rev hard as possible. when you only rev slowly to 3k rpm and then let, it doesn't make any noise (in neutral).
but when you rev hard to 5500-6000 then it makes a 'zshhh' sound (but not hard like at drive)
it is pretty louder while driving, but still quiter than a HKS ssqv.

you can try another vacuum line to test if it does work.
for example one of the 2niples in the LHD from intake manifold.
or the line back of the manifold, which is plugged with a plastic.
to see if it works?

i tried that i conect the vacum to other vacum lines.....

i forgot to tell you something my celica has a problem for a month a go....
it dosent make full boost presure in 1st and 2nd gear and some times not iven in 3rd gear...the boost indicator from the dasbord it dosent reach the + sign....only some times

So i think that i have a problem with the presure and there for no presure no strenght to open the BOV valve....

I think

Sounds like you have a large boost leak or your turbo is broken.

Sorry to hear that - hopefully you can find a replacement unit.

Standard CT26 if you're not planning on going much bigger. CT20b (ST205's turbo) if you fancy a few extra mods (requires a bit of work to fit).
