i fitted a boost guage and dumpvalve on a friends 185 but it only boosts to about 6 psi.
its a blitz dv and its really quite assuming thats because of low boost?
but in 3rd gear onwards the dv makes no sound?
any ideas?

may be in limp mode?!?! check for engine codes

correct it was in limp mode
it had codes 24 air temp sensor fault and 31 map sensor fault
i cleared these and and my friend left with his car. he said it pulled 100 times better for most of the journey home but then went back to being slugish at the end of the journey
assuming it brings up the same codes again anybody had these and found a cure or is it just replacement of parts?
