Looks very similar to the Blitz i-Color. Would need to take a closer look to compare the two. It would be interesting to hear what stevo_st24 thinks!

It's not an i-Color a-like

It's purely an information display not a combined ebc

It also appears to be connected into a diagnostic ECU port (I assume OBDII) a la Blitz R-Vit

I’m thinking of upgrading my SBC iDIII to an i-Colour number for monitoring my Oil temp & pressure, I take it you have one Stevo?? Is it worth the 300 notes for the upgrade??

(Damn ODBII gets you everytime!! :( :( )

TBH I'm not sure

It's a nice piece of kit and it does provide good information

My only concern is that for something like oil pressure the display might be a little limited
It's not particularly high contrast and in bright sun it can be difficult to read
Personally I want to see engine vitals like oil temp and pressure in big bold easy to read displays so I can see trouble coming

That said you can set alarm parameters on the Blitz so it will at least warn you in advance

Overall I'd say it's probably worth it if you want to try and clean up but it's not really up to scratch for a serious race/strip machine

It's for this reason I have the Defi kit for vitals and will use the Blitz for "interesting" but not critical stuff like c/cooler water temp, cooling system pressure etc

BTW, you can upgrade the SBC-iD by just buying the MMC-iColor and using your existing solenoid/sensors
