Mine this time.

Found out my suspicions about my wideband being out of calibration are true. It was mapped to give 11.5 - 12 AFR by my gauge.

Slightly puzzled by the torque curve diving steadily downwards. I'm suspecting partly the rich fueling, partly the boost dropping slightly, and possibly mapping going too retarded at the top as I was paranoid about det.

Spec:
205 engine.
264 cams set to default 0
Fensport hybrid stage 2 CT20 (= stage 3 CT26)
Straight intake + cold airbox.
Still on 205 water chargecooler.
Link G3 ECU (including boost control)

As a matter of interest, these are the maps on an ECU from an MR2.

Chris,
Is the timing on the map "total timing" or is there 10 ish degs more advance to factor in from base timing?

It looks a lot of advance to me.

That's absolute timing.

On my surrey RR map, it was just starting to det. on 95RON at mid RPM so was running Vpower.

I use low cost 98RON to map the engine, the badest 98 i can find, in order to have a safe map like you.

don't really know your engine health but i have 4 to 7° more advance (eg. 200kpa, 4000rpm : 21.5° and 12.7AFR) and no det at all.

In return my engine is hotter than yours and i have to overcool everything, but my ECU have a timing vs coolant temp patch if thing goes too high.

Engine health is that it keeps blowing ringlands  Currently trying to diagnose why as there's no tell tale signs of det. on the piston crowns, and none evident on the det. cans or knock warning system.

My map was copied from another gt4 which had been proffesionally mapped, but I found I had to pull about 5 degrees to avoid det. on 95 RON.
