Post subject:  extended wheel studs on st205

hi guys iv not been on here in a while but need some help,

iv brought some wheels and they are 10mm out so im putting some spacers of to bring them upto 35et
my car already had extended studs on the front so i any have to do the back but is it really as hard as it looks i took the wheel off and it looks like i have to remove 4 suspension components ie roll bars and also the driveshaft.
can someone tell me if it take as long as im thinking lol
or can i just get the studs out without taking off the hub? i know its stupid to think this but the japs are very hard people to follow in the mechanical sense everythings smaller and more of them lol

cheers guys

Impact gun, some decent tools=1-2hrs for both sides.i think when me and muddy water tackled the back it was all stripped within the hour (running gear)

you shouldnt have to take suspension components off ?

just take the disks off and remove the handbrake shoes , there should be either enough room or a hole you can knock the old stud out through , replce with longer stud and then pull through with a nut , washers and oil with an airgun

What Welshman said. I've just done this too but replacing like for like Toyota items all round as general maintenance. To help pull the new ones in i put them in the freezer the night before too.

If you don't have an airgun then you can just use a wrench, but of course air tools make easy work of it.
