is there a way of testing the wire-plug that goes into the low oil-level sensor?
ive just replaced the sump with a new (used iteam) ive no reason to think the sensors not working, so woundered if it could be a wireing issue
strange thing is, ive a clifford alarm and when i press the fob to let the
turo timer run, the oil level warning on the dash go`s out
to avoid confussion its a uk car despite my username

Hi,

disconnect the plug and use a small wire for shortening it -> have a look to the gauge cluster

thanks for the help
i assume you mean "bridge" the connections in the plug
and see if the light goes out in the dash?
i havnt seen the connections in the plug
are there only 2 in the plug
also strange that activating the turbotimer switches of the light in the dash

Hi,

correct, bridge the two connections

a turbo timer should not effect that.....
