Hi guys,

Somthing i've been thinking about lately but wanted your opinions.

I know that on a permanent 4wd car like the st205 you're supposed to keep all 4 wheels of the same rolling radius to prevent transmission lock which could occur if you drive for too long in a straight line with one axle of a different rolling radius of the other.

But what about the track length?

Because my front wheels are flush with the front arches, but because the celica body gets wider towards the back i was wondering what issues i may face if i added spacers to the rear to make the rear wheels also sit flush with the arches?

Alloys and tyres are identical all round but adding spacers will mean the rear track is wider.

Will this be a problem?

Many Thanks

Leeky

no
The diffs ar designed to accomodate some wheel speed difference side to side
The non staggered wheel size thing is to do with overloading the centre diff not the front/rear ones
