333bhp on a standard (internal) engine is very good.
As said before - if you want more then you are looking at a forged rebuild to cope with the additonal stresses.

Heat is the biggest killer - consider the following:
- An uprated radiator, water swirl pot and header tank;
- Engine oil cooler setup;
- FMIC.

I would put the 2K to one side for when you need to rebuild your engine - 'cause sooner or later you will have ring failure running that sort of power.
(the above is from personal experience having run between 330-363bhp on a standard (internal) engine with uprated this, that and the other.)

Sorry I should of added that I have a stainless sports rad.
Ok it looks like I really need to start saving the pennies then.
I have considered selling the 4 and maybe moving to a skyline GTR but a love the look of the 4 and I really enjoy driving it.
Does any one know the true cost of a rebuild? As I really would Like to keep the car.

Sorry if we have gone a little off topic.

Cost will vary hugely depending on the level of service and component spec

For eg when I rebuilt my engine completely standard it cost around 800 for parts reusing pistons and rods
Expect at least the same again in labour for a drop off at garage, pick up when done service
Then add listens, rods, machining, cams, beadwork etc to suit your goal

2k is low unless you diy, 5k is a touch high unless you visit Gucci and prada

edit

Beadwork. I meant headwork but autocorrect knows best lol
And pistons not listens while we're on the subject

Agree with MuddyWater completely. If you are already running 330BHP then swapping turbo isn't going to get you much more apart from putting you at further risk of failures.

Rebuild cost depends entirely on what goes in, who does it and how much other stuff you want to replace, you can spend over £500 just on gaskets, pumps and belts.

Thanks everyone for some great advise it's been much aprteciated.

I'll start saving and probably need some advice closer to the time of rebuild.

I'll defiantly hold off on the turbo. The last thing I want is a blown engine.

Cheers
