Hi all has anyone got, or can anyone measure for me, the length of the dipstick tube on their ST185.
I’m after the measurement of just the tube its self as illustrated below.
Much obliged in advance, Dorris

147mm (approx.)

Note - the dipstick goes into a raised bit of the block. The measurement is from the raised bit of block at the middle / bottom of the hole the tube goes into. If you measure at the left you get a couple of mm less, the right is on the edge of the step and you'll get a fair bit longer if measuring down to the lower level.

Does the base of your dipstick look like this by any chance? Dorris

Probably, in which case measurement is from top of raised bit.
