right, ive just managed to get an HKS EVC-5 boost controller for next to nothing, a real bargain. The reason it was so cheap was because it came without a boost solenoid/stepper motor. Everything is present apart from this part. Ordinarily I would just buy a replacement generic one but am I right in thinking that the HKS is unique in that the pressure sensor is also enclosed within the assembly. If I buy a generic boost solenoid then I will still be missing the pressure sensor. Is there also a generic pressure sensor that can be purchased? Im a dab hand with a soldering iron so if it would all just need splicing together then thats not a problem but I need the correct components 1st thanks guys marcus |
