This just doesn't look right and you certainly shouldn't have to use washers/spacers to get it to fit.

My Blitz Nur Spec R ST205 system is shown below

The HKS Silent HiPower ST205 system on the Sumo Power web site is shown below

The system shown in your pics seems to be a different type of HKS Silent HiPower with a different design of resonator box. The pic below from the TDI web site seems to be the version you have with the different resonator.

Did you get it new and if so, did it come with an ST205 compatibility label? Maybe you have been sold the wrong system so I'd try and exchange it for the correct version of HKS or just get the equivalent Blitz which we know fits. I don't like the idea of these washers :?

Hope that helps!

Both pictures TrackToyFour linked aren´t showing a HKS system for a ST205. The first one looks like a exaust for a JZA80 Supra to me. The second one comes close to a exaust for a ST205, but is angled wrong and the fixing struts don´t fit.

Here some pictures of my old exaust system, a Blitz NürSpec R next to my current one, a HKS silent hiPower which replaced the Blitz:

To explain the resonator box: There are two versions of the HKS hiPower available. One is the "hiPower" without resonator box, but there is also a more gentle version called "silent hiPower" with resonator box.

The web site pics I posted from Sumo and TDI were labelled ST205 and were different for other car types but its often true that the people publishing the web sites are not technocal and could post the wrong images. Xlarge's pics are actual so good info :D

I swapped the forward part of the HKS system and my OEM midpipe for this! :D

Makes it a tad louder though.

ok after slacking off all the bolts all the way to the cat ive managed to make it fit :D ,put a new centre box exhaust mount on aswell, got the very centre one on back order at mr t's,have run the car a good 20 miles and all seems good, still got the diff brace on washers to get enough clearence, looks ok but i might try refitting when i get the other exhaust mount, anyways it looks great, sounds nice very mature sound, burbles on idle and sounds nice when used.

thanks for all the help guys and suggestions.

Good to hear you have improved the fit :) I'd still be keen to lose those washers tho.... The chassis/bearers take some high loadings.
