Hello there,

Can someone confirm if the "202" TRD 3point strut brace fits the 205? part number is 53607-ST001.

From pics it looks like if you have ditched the charge cooler it should be ok. However I came across an old post from 2004 saying it had tobe chopped up to fit, can't work out why lol.

Cheers

I have some vague recollection about some braces not fitting due to the throttle body being in the way. Don't know if that applies to the TRD one you mention.

Might fit if you go for a side feed manifold, otherwise the FMIC pipework will foul - assuming it misses the throttle body that is.

The normal 'bent' versions used on the 4 are a waste of time, more flex than a rubber band. IMO the standard one cross-bracing to the bulkhead is about as good as it gets.

Answer to original question is NO it wont fit.
Mainly because the charge cooler is in the way on the ST205.

Pic above may be of 202 trd brace on a 205 but note there is no charge cooler - its been converted to a front mount.

Thanks for the pic Johny, from the other pictures I saw on 202's it looked like it would foul on the throttle body.

I'm on fmic so happy days.
