I all, hope someone can help me.

Ive put 205 brakes on my 185 and am having no end of problems.

Started with stuck pistons, so I replaced them, still binding so I replaced the master cylinder and the bias valve still happening. Argh so now im in the process of replacing all the lines but have read up that the push rod on the servo could cause binding, some say that there should be a small gap between the push rod and the ms where as mine is pushing the ms in about 5mm when I mount it on the servo, does anyone have any knowledge on the matter cause I'm at a loss lol and its trying my patience.

As the pushrod is pushed, it seals off the resevoir and starts pushing fluid to the slave cylinders. It needs to be fully out when the pedal is released in order to open the port to the resevoir and allow pressure to equalise - without this, any expansion with heat etc. will cause cause the brakes to bind.

Nice one, looks like ive got an adjustment to make on it. Is there a difference between the 185 and 205's brake pedal or have I just ended up with a servo that's been adjusted previously?
