Hi all, there's a st182 I think down the road from me for sale at 250 spares or repair. Just wondering what kind of bits could be used on the st185 as was thinking maybe a good buy for spare bits.

Its a 2.0 16v gti with 178k some tax and that's all I can see looking at it.

- various interior parts not incl: seats (diff seat mounts due to diff trans tunnel IIRC though you can swap foam padding), boot panels, boot carpet
- all lights, bumpers, valance panel, trim, scuttle panel, mirrors,
- all doors/hatch/bonnet, glass, mechanisms, fuel flap if not widebody,
- front hub carriers, front hubs, front brakes/lines, steering rack, rack ends, front swaybar? - swaybar mounts - end links
- engine mounts, shifter + base, pedals, AC, various relay holders, fusebox, ABS module, dash support bar, speakers, speaker enclosures,
- Engine and dash electrical harness (may require slight re-pin)
- coil, distributor, ignition module, windscreen wiper motors, aerial,

that is off top of head.. depends on what you need really with regards to having spares. Means you will need extra room to store as well.

Thanks bud, mainly what I thought would be available.

Weighing up the options if its worth the Hassel of stripping it and selling bits then scrapping whatever's left. I know I can make profit on 250 but is it worth the effort.

Have you costed your time or is that not a factor? Reminds me of Wheeler Dealers, they make a profit but don't take Edd China's labour cost into account. I presume Edd still has to pay the mortgage and put food on the table!

Much like Strippers: Cars for Cash. They make a 300 pound profit but they've put a load of work in.
Personally unless you want something quite specific from it, then its not worth it. You've got to sell everything on, send parcels around the country, get the wreck down to the scrappers to recoop anything left. A lot of work IMO

I've never seen such retards when it comes to taking a car apart.

On topic - I bought an AT180 for the roof only.
