Hi am i right in thinking front driveshafts are the same and so interchangeable from side to side cheers ted

On a 185 the driveshaft bit from inner CV outwards are semi-interchangable, certainly in emergency. One side has a damper block in the middle, the other doesn't.
The inner couplings into the gearbox are different so you need to split the inner CV (which can be a bit fidly to put back together if it's balls drop out).

Ok cheers somebody asked me for ns driveshaft I only got os they looked identical when I removed them diidnt notice a damper on one but prob was lol

It's a big round rubber block about halfway alaong the shaft.

No they are different and you can`t interchange them, the main difference is the inner joint where it enters the box

If you unbolt the joints they looked identical same length ect

Aaah my bad I thought it was 205 for some reason, never compared the 2 sides enough to comment sorry
