by essexgt4 on Sat Mar 22, 2014 7:17 pm Right for some reason the rear lights on my other half's185 aren't working recently just converted to rev 3 engine, brake lights work so do indicators and reverse lights, fuses are intact although I don't seem to be getting a reading on voltmeter on connection points, are there any common failures or does anyone have any suggestions? |

If you retained the 185 engine loom then there shouldn't be any wiring issue as a result of the engine change. Looks like there's a tail light relay and tail light fuse, not sure where they are though. Had power to everything but the tail lights ended up running a live feed to the connector pin and hey presto they work, does anyone reckon it could be down to the lamp failure box behind rear passenger trim? |
