Made 288 bhp and 300lbs of torque @3500 rpm may of made about more but got hot because of charge cooler guess I need front mount but I have almost no lag at the moment am I really going to gain anything?

Sounds like a good result. The CS/RC is a good base and the chargecooler is adequate for most purposes other than out & out track stuff.

Is your charge cooler system in tip top condition?
The internals of the charge cooler get coated in a film of oil which lowers the efficiency.
Lagging helps with heat soak as well.
