Do I need a facia for it or will it sit nicely in the current aperture?

Depending on the design it will fit however the dash design means that usually there is nowhere for the trim that is generally supplied with a head unit to go - a bit difficult to explain really. The OEM double din headunit essentially fitted behind the plastic but flush with it.

Looking at getting one of these - just something to stream music from iPhone and do handsfree calls http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-DPX-306 ... B00T3URT0W - seems to have decent clearance around the edge?

I just bought a cheap G1WH to get me started, seems like the cheapest you can go for that actually works as you need. Will install and trial it and post up a video over the weekend (assuming it arrives!)
