Looking to fit a set of new Sard 800 high Impedence (Brown) injectors to my GT-Four.
What is the preferred method for removal and making good once the resistor pack has been removed?

I've not done this but isn't it quite a simple procedure to remove the resistor pack, cut the flying lead off and join the main 12V feed to each of the 4 injector pins on the flying lead?

I don't know if the resistor pack comes apart but for longevity you could look at opening it up and simply replacing the internal resistors with bridging wires. In hindsight it is probably sealed and potted?

I can't remember if you are using a power FC?? if so I guess you are limited to high impedance or low impedance with resistor pack.

There are some benefits at low INJ durations to use low impedance injectors if your ECU can drive them directly. They are more accurate if you can setup the ECU to use a "Peak & Hold" current drive to use high current to open them fast and lower current to keep them open for as long as you want.

I assume that the high impedance SARD 800s are cheaper? other wise just go for the low impedance ones and use the resistor pack for now if your ECU wont directly run them.

PS any news on the BC data?

Hi JP, I run a PFC and have come to the limit, probably did done years ago, of the 540 injectors.

AFAIK sard no longer make 800 Blue side feed Low imp.
I imported some high Impedence and now looking to get them fitted.
If I'm honest I haven't even looked at a wiring diagram so you could well be right.

I have also read that low are a little better than high Impedence.
I don't plan on driving them to hard so hope I will be in the safety zone with them.

Maybe I should just go Wolfkatz?

Nothing back as yet I'm afraid.
