Planned out the next modification today and bought some bits for it

I think I've lost it. Major components for my last few projects have all come from B&Q or Wickes
I think I'm getting more pikey

So, in my finest Rolf Harris voice

"Can you tell what it is yet kids :?: "

JP's not allowed to play this game ;)

Evo style rain guard for under the bonnet vent? That's what I'm planning to fab up one day and it could look like this!

Have you removed girlfriend and installed an "old boiler" in the car now? (hence needing the gas vent).

Erghh <work mode on> do the louvres come with an insect mesh? Is the free area measured as "open free area" or "equivalent aerodynamic free area"? <work mode off>

Well, it needs a little more work but you'll get the general idea

Since the sunroof was cracked already I figured I'd give this a go.

The vent will be blended into the panel when I fit the passenger side one. Both will then be painted black as will the glass panel. Hopefully this will generate some airflow through the car when moving

Then all I need to do is figure out some parking covers to prevent rain ingress when stationary. An ice cream tub looks suitable
It was no joke making holes in that glass let me tell you. Luckily the ceramic tile cutter got the job done - eventually

or maybe not

Err..might sound obvious, but why not just change the sunroof glass for the spare that Don has? :?: Thats what I was planning on doing if I'd kept it at least...

Still, you're the one who'll get rained on if it don't work properly ;)

Cheers,
Mark
