Has anyone got one or does anyone know anyone with er one

It looks Goofy but the tremendous powers of the Dork side are strong in me and my inner nerd really really really want's to play. It'd be handy if :-
a) The men in white coats don't drag me off
b) Someone can make up rev 2 bits for me

Alternately is there another Nerdlinger out there who fancies having a tinker too.....

A bit of reading around the edges reveals that people are lost wax casting relatively successfully with variations on the theme. Now that is interesting as scrap ally blocks are almost free :D

Oooh,
I Don't have one but if it could replicate me two of the girls wearing "I love nerds" T-Shirts I could be tempted for 30,000 euro :-)

I did see a link to show you how to make your own, may be a bit limited if it will only replicate in wax. Maybe it could extend to replicate in chocolate? The block would match my rods then :-)

The main "build" material is extrudable thermoplastic i.e. it makes plastic bits

However, there's been a few people make lost wax casting blanks and one or two ubernerds have been messing about with lazer sinter powders - i.e. the latest cutting edge rapid prototype systems

As long as it doesn't use Google StitchUp to do the drawing side of things..............
