My tools consist mostly of cheap junk
The last set I bought was from Machine Mart, about 70 quid for 11billion tools
although the sockets are 6-siders
All I do buy is decent ratchets - have a couple of snapon jobbies - and precision stuff like torque wrenches and replace carp with decent quality one at a time as I loose things lol
The old man's Clarke compressor is now probably 20 years old and has never ever had any sort of issues despite running a spray booth for the first few years of it's life. Likewise the clarke blurt gun, sanders, mops etc etc. Cheap stuff but seems to have lasted forever
Even my Aldi (or LIDL possibly) angle grinder has done more than enough to justify the 7 quid price tag lol
