Guys,

I want to know how to swap my rear diff over.
Is there a fitting guide somewhere?
I can see a guide for a diff. mount only.
I want to know if I need to line things up and how etc.
Any special tools needed.
I'm swapping the whole diff unit not any internals.
any help appreciated.

If you have a copy of the ST205 Toyota Chassis supplement a removal guide is given in there.

I think the rear differential setup on the ST205 and ST185 is quite similar in its mounting.

Remember to place matchmarks on the driveshafts and propshaft otherwise you may unbalance things.

I'm just going to fit it. Colour match the contact points.
The diff I'm fitting doesn't appear to have markings......unless they are covered in dirt/grime.
Still....if it's wrong I'll re do it until it's right...:wink: :)
