i hope everyone is well.
my car has been struggling lately. when i put my foot down it sort of holds back a bit like chugging. until boost goes into positive pressure.

i have just had the car steam cleaned to remove an ooil build up but unfortunately for me i think the guy didnt know what he was doing.

now when i drove home and put my foot down the car made a repeating dull thudding noise. like a machine gun ( not the ones in the movies peeow). again if i accelarate gradually it doesnt seem to do it as much.

any ideas please? maybe water got into somewhere it shouldnt have.

what are the effects of a knackered turbo please?
