hi, i have searched but couldnt find.
does anybody have a how to or can tell me a how to chabge the front drivers side drive shaft seal.( the bit that comes out of the gearbox ( i think its the gearbox it comes from)
its the engine side not the wheels side.

Mahender, how did you get on with this?

I haven't done this on the 185 but the 205 drivers side is, dare I say it, strightforward!

Remove driveshaft, lever out old metallic housed seal, knock in new seal ans replace driveshaft.

No oil escapes when you do the drivers side either

hi kris.
i let mr mechanic do it.
it cost me £110 for the seals, fitting and oil.
i think its beyond me and my pathetic tools for now.

not sure if its phsycosomatic, but it feels better. i think. not sure.

i guess you could never do this on ramps?
not that my car can get up any ramps.
