Hello all - im just taking the fron suspension legs off a ST205 and i cant for the life of me work out how to split the joint that attaches the leg to the hub (at the top of the hub) i've done the fig8 but this one im stuck on - any clues?

You can smash a ball joint fork in there - not recommended or source an appropriate ball joint splitter - note many do not have a wide enough gape to go around the ball joint.

The Part you require is - ITC001BJC

Yes, the 24mm looks like it would do it.

But, it is highly likely you will damage the protective rubber boot around the ball joint.
