Do all ST205's have the little corner speakers just inside from the mirrors on the front doors. I suppose they are the 'tweeter' units?

In short, no.

On a more helpful note, the wiring is in place if you don't have the speakers on your 205. Don't foget you will want the speakers and the plastic trim around the tweeter if you decide you want to fit them.

I already have these installed - think they are standard on UK then?

I've also got a set of component speakers kicking around and was contemplating fitting them, will try and get hold of another set of speakers as I need the bracket from the back and don't want to butcher my existing ones.

I believe all GT-fours have "Tweeters" mounted in the doors by teh inide of teh mirrors. The ST185 System 10 & St1205 Live soudn added mid-range speakers and inxcraesed the bass speakers from 6.5" to 8"
St185 also added seperate Tweeters to teh rear (in teh top strut mount covers)

I would dispute this comment . . . I know mine and Kris's were both fitted for, but not with the tweeters. I can't imagine the previous owners removing them and fitting blanking plates there when all other speakers were present as expected

Kris has since rectified this, but I prefer the look of not having them.
