Don will be getting a genuine weld in job AFAIK Jon. Possibly something which will be compliant with certain race regulations and FIA specs

Confirmed AND it will be designed to maximise chassis stiffness

Mark,

How's the old girl? Any sign of a big key turning ceremony?

Not yet I'm afraid :( Still trying to find somewhere to rent to get it moved to so that I begin the deconstruction etc. So far everywhere thats reasonable for room/security etc is just too damn expensive  Still, on the up side the longer it takes me to get started the more likely I am to have the money to get the job done

Cheers,
Mark

*May* be of interest, althought the price is a little high?

But if enough people 'grouped' together, perhaps this would be a possible solution??

Is that £23k per year rental?! If so then bit too steep methinks  Still, looks good - just a shame it bit out of range pricewise :(

Cheers,
Mark

Funny old thing - but I have been keeping you all in mind!

The rental for the place we went to on Saturday for the rolling road was stooopid cheap at something like £6k pa. . . shame it is so far away, but might be worth finding out if that would be an option for renting???
