Very P'd off now :(

Knock values have become somewhat erratic, can get 50+ with outgoing on boost by 3krpm, get 70's at .4 bar and funnily enough 40's at 1.1.

Will post up a log from the drive back from the pub on saturday when retrieve the laptop, is this symptomatic of a dead knock sensor? Bearing in mind i havent even altered any of these cells anyway. showing high figures across the board.

Nope - Dead knock sensor provides no output when monitored.

IMHO it kinda sounds like you have developed a noisey engine. Maybe you now have a little more slop in your big ends/mains or excessive bore wear which resulted in the reduced BHP on the dyno.

try getting under the bonnet with engine running and ever so slightly pull on accelerator cable (just enough to notice the engine revs pick up) then release. do you get a small clatter??

I'd say it's possible

My old sensor gave slightly erratic results but that might have been due to the failure of the connector LOL

To be fair though the new one gave even higher readings so I'd tend to agree with JP, it's unlikely

Get the det cans on it and listen for general noise
