Just wondering how other people have fitted their Whiteline anti-roll bar (ARB) IIRC the bars come supplied with small sachets of rubber grease.

I've been using the lubricant supplied but after a year or two they seem to need re-lubricating. I'm sure the OEM rubber bushes are fitted dry and they never get noisy. This has occurred on both my ST205's,

The question is this. Would you expect polyethylene bushes to require re-lubricating on a regular basis?

I'd say that they should be greased periodically to help prevent wear and to prevent squeeks :)

i've always fitted poly bushes with the lube supplied, never had any problems with squeks etc afterwards though.

can't be any harm in re-lubing them, although i can't see them being designed so that they need to be re-lubed at regular intervals?? would they?

i always thought the lube was there to aid fitting, some poly bushes would be almost impossibe to fit wthout it.

maybe a short email to a manufacturer would shed some light?

I fitted my Whiteline ARB bushes and also the poly bushes I fitted to the front ARB using the supplied grease in the sachet, although I haven't had any noticeable squeeks since and haven't re-greased them since.

Yes, lube them

Needs Toyota stock polybush lube part no 12345-678910

I have re-lubed mine once I think. I consider it a part of the de-roadification of the car. For every plus (whiteline, polybush) there's a minus :(
