| Post subject: | 185 Transfer Box Compatible with 205? |
I have a mate who may have a knackered transfer box on his 205. I have a 185 box sat on my trailor doing nothing. Are the two transfer boxes interchangeable between models? My understanding was the gearboxes remained fundamentally unchanged from 185 to 205, only changing the syncros and ratios. |

This too is my understanding. I'm not too sure whether I would go for this route as I wouldn't be 110% everything would be ok! |
